- Neighbors turn off their air conditioners
- The Denver Nuggets pre season begins
- Bronco Sundays
- The piles of red and orange leaves, being crunched by little boys and girls giggling as they “bury themselves” in them so they can jump out and “scare” the neighbors
- Sexy boots with skirts
- Over-sized scarves instead of coats
Usually we have had a least one snow by now. I’m a fair weather fan, but for those who want it, I hear they have started making it in the mountains! Cooler temperatures and high school football games…..M & D
Recently I was reading how autumn is referred to as the time for harvesting the grown or cultivated crops and the time when there is a lot of leaves’ shedding from the trees.
I then realized if I were a tree I would choose to be deeply rooted and full of leaves so I too could “shed” the old and stand tall to fully embody the light, colors and crispness in the air as I move into a new “season!”
Oktoberfest! It is a blast in LODO.
